Jonathan Law Violin Studio Opening

Active in the musical scene as a violinist; Jonathan Law (class of 2014) opened a violin studio to nurture violinists of the next generation; by providing professional classical music training and performance opportunities.

Jonathan pursued Master of Music in Performance (Violin) at the Royal Northern College of Music with full scholarship under HKSES.

CONG x ROMER: String QuartetS Recital

Cheng Yan Ho (class of 2010) will be playing with the Cong Quartet in the upcoming

"Cong x Romer: String QuartetS Recital" on 27 April (8pm) at Tai Kwun - JC Cube, Central.

Yan Ho is the founding member of the Cong Quartet, the 1st place and Grand Prize winner of the 2019 Salzburg Mozart International Chamber Competition in Tokyo, and the current Ensemble-in-Residence of the Chinese University of HK.
 

Cong Quartet will give premiere of the string quartet by American composer Lawrence Dillion, and perform the famous Shostakovich's 3rd Quartet.  In the 2nd half of the recital, Cong Quartet will join Romer Quartet in performing Hong Kong composer Joyce Tang's Double Exposure, a commission piece for this collaboration, as well as Mendelssohn's Octet.
